About

Why this exists

QuantDigitals is an independent site of security and network tools, and technical guides on Linux, privacy and web security. It is written and built by one person, which is worth stating plainly rather than writing "we" and implying a company.

Most tutorials in this area either assume you already know the material or simplify it until there is nothing left to learn. Most online tools ask for more than they need — an account, an email address, or the contents of whatever you just pasted in. This site is an attempt at neither.

How tools are built here

If a job can be done in your browser, it is done in your browser. Hashing, encoding, subnet maths and certificate parsing never need a server, so they will never touch one here. A handful of tools genuinely cannot work that way — a browser cannot make a DNS query or read another site's response headers — and those say so on the page, above the input, before you have typed anything.

That distinction is the whole reason the site exists in the form it does. It is easy to build every tool as an API call, and it means every input you make becomes someone else's log entry.

What is not here

No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no newsletter tricks, and no tools built for attacking systems you do not own. The tools are meant for defensive, administrative, educational and research work.

Nothing on this site claims to be more established than it is. It is early, the tool library is still being built, and the pages say so where that is true.
